This entire project is the first body of work that fully represents my passion for storytelling and documentary photography. I am deeply grateful for all the communities that welcomed me into their space and trusted me with their stories. Photography doubles as my personal artistic space and the vehicle in which I serve. The art form allows me to see community and exist within, as I learn about new cultures and world views. I hope you are able to feel the love and pride found within these stories, and even more, see how the Ubuntu ethos thrives not only in these spaces, but is needed worldwide.
